Body Glove heads to Lima, Peru to surf the Surf Stream wave machine. Using shorter versions of normal short boards, Cheyne Magnusson, Anthony Walsh, and kids of all ages, master two types of standing waves. Just some good ol' fashioned fun on modern technology.

Famous surf shaper Scott Bouchard has created two insane wakesurf shapes for Byerly Boards. The Hazard is a great all around shape available in 4'8" and 5'4", including a single concave in the belly and molded in channels exiting the tail. These features allow the Hazard the glide effortlessly on all wave sizes, but the shape is very high performance in nature. With 5 fin boxes and 4 included fins, you can set your Hazard to perform however you prefer. The Volt is new for 2013, and is fresh out of the shaping room. At 4'10" the Volt is a compliment to the line and a true high end shape made to boost aerials, stomp varials and spin till your heart's content. A fin slot in the nose will make riding switch a blast with the added control.

Hyperlite has created a diverse Wakesurf line offering 4 different models including the Idylwood, Broadcast, Coex and Landlock. The Idylwood is a lightweight surf style shape at 5'6" and will glide effortlessly even in smaller wave conditions. Our Broadcast is offered in two sizes at 4'8" & 5'4" and shaped to land the toughest aerials, varials and surf carves but is priced low enough to keep the wave machine rolling. Hyperlite's Coex is the smallest shape at 4'4" making it ideal for skim style maneuvers and surfing switch stance, great for the performer in your boat. The Landlock is the long board in our quiver, at 5'11" it will cruise on the smaller waves and is a great deck to have for capturing that surfing sensation.

“On March 10th 2011 we started our Arnette IN YOUR FACE trip to California. Because of the good weather and recommendations of the really nice OC locals, we spent the first 6 days of the 10 day trip in Southern California. Spots like Trestles, Blacks or Swamis contributed to making it a real good time! Being surfers from Germany and surfing the Baltic Sea at home all the time we’re also having loads of fun in less ideal beachbreaks like Newport or Huntington. Surfing Germany’s coast brings conditions much worse and at way lower temperatures As we’re not afraid of cold water we wanted to check northern California, too. So we took the Suburban for a little ride on Highway 101. Due to bad wind and a wrong swell direction Rincon and Sandspit didn’t quite live up to their reputation. That’s why we went right away and drove straight to Santa Cruz. We surfed the best waves of the trip at spots like Steamer Lane, Pleasure Point and the Hook for the next couple of days. We were quite impressed about the locals’ friendliness, which we hadn’t expected after hearing stories about the Santa Cruz surf scene... In the end we can say that we had an awesome time in California, surfed many good waves! Yet to say that the beer isn’t that bad, but it doesn’t make a difference as night life isn’t happening after 2 a.m. anyways."
