CCTV Footage Shows Man Stealing £25,000 of Road Bikes From Flagship London Store

The Pinarello theft included a rare replica of Sir Bradley Wiggins' hour record bike...

CCTV footage has been released of a man breaking into the flagship Pinarello bike shop in London and stealing three bikes with a total value of £25,000.

The incident occurred on the night of 25 August at The Bike Rooms on Regents Street in the English capital, with the condemning footing showing the crooks arriving on a moped, masked in motorbike helmets, and smashing the window to gain entry.

While one of the criminals waits outside on the getaway vehicle, the other moves quickly through the shop, appearing to look for and pick up particular bikes that he had pre-planned to steal.

He then grabs a replica of Sir Bradley Wiggins’ UCI Hour Record bike, a replica of a Team Wiggins bike and a Pinarello Dogma K8-S, before riding away on the back of the moped.
