These YouTube WMDs have come together to make internet gold.

That’s it. Everyone go home. The internet has reached peak internet, and now there’s nothing left for us on it but a gaping black hole of despair. We’re tempted to go full-on Shakespeare here, and just spoon out our own eyeballs so that we never have to look at anything else ever again. Why? Because we’ve just seen two of our favourite things in the world come together in one video. And, quite frankly, it’s beautiful. So beautiful we could cry.

If you’ve been following Mpora for a while now, you’ll know of our deep and passionate love for red hot nickel ball videos. Red hot nickel ball on some gardening foam, red hot nickel ball on a Nokia 3310, red hot nickel ball on an ink cartridge…and so on. We’ve been watching and writing about red hot nickel ball videos for a long time.

More recently than the RHNB phenomenon, we’ve become fascinated with watching hydraulic presses destroy a variety of things (courtesy of the Hydraulic Press Channel on YouTube). Exploding shark, ten-pin bowling ball, $4,000 diamond, gummy bears; you name it, we’ve enjoyed watching it get crushed by a hydraulic press.

Now, we love red hot nickel ball videos and we love hydraulic press videos. But never, in our wildest dreams, did we ever comprehend these two weapons of mass destruction coming together to form some sort of vaguely-scientific supergroup. It’s happened though and, what’s more, it’s probably the most glorious viewing experience in the history of mankind. Watch it now.
