Did Brandon Semenuk Just Drop the Greatest Night Segment in Mountain Bike History?

The man behind the "greatest video segment ever" is back... and this time it's dark

Brandon Semenuk has a habit of making our jaws drop. There was the time he laid down possibly one of the greatest runs ever to win Crankworx Whistler slopestyle, and of course, his one-shot, four-minute film segment from unReal, dubbed the best in mountain bike history by many.

All in all, he generally seems to spend a lot of time doing or making the best runs, segments, shots and clips in mountain bike history.

Semenuk also got around to dropping his own feature-length movie over the summer, the amazing ‘Revel in Chaos’, and to celebrate being voted the people’s favourite rider of Red Bull Rampage 2015, the Canadian has dropped this stunning night segment from Revel.

It’s safe to say that if we tried any of these stunts in the daylight, we would end up in a hospital bed, nevermind in the dark of night. Semenuk is a rather talented guy though, and some of the lines he hits in this segment had us whooping out loud.

The piece de resistance? That rock gap at the end. It’s absolutely unbelievable – and even Semenuk almost… ALMOST had a few problems with it. Brandon initially way overshot the gap, but somehow managed to hang on to his bike and ride away in one of the greatest saves we’ve seen in a while.

Have a watch of the save here, of which Brandon says: “This was my first attempt. The over shoot was close to 70ft from the take off.” This guy has some serious balls and the skills to match them. Hell yes Brandon Semenuk!
