Florida Cyclist Mistakes Crocodile for Log in Hilarious Viral Video

...and the world can't stop watching and laughing

There are some moments in your life that are too monumental to ever forget. You probably still have some memories of your first day at school for example, the first time you rode a bicycle, your first kiss, or the first time you discovered beer.

Well, let us tell you loyal Mpora readers, those moments may be far and few between, but when they do come, you very quickly realise that they’re well worth the wait.

Oh, the video below? No, it’s not one of those moments. Don’t be ridiculous. It’s a hilarious video, don’t get us wrong – it’s 11 seconds long and purely between the team at Mpora it’s been played about 300 times in the last ten minutes – but you’ll probably have forgotten it exists by tomorrow.

It’s short. It’s sweet. It’s a cyclist in Florida who sounds like Cleveland Brown from Family Guy mistaking a crocodile – “or an alligator, whatever” – for a log in the middle of a road:

Needless to say, it’s not the first time a cyclist has got into trouble on camera while riding along in front of an unsuspecting alligator… And now that we think about it, that probably did need said after all.

When you ask? Well that would be in 2014, also in Florida, when a cyclist very vocally decided “it’s time for a selfie” and then almost crashed into the creature which was “all up in his Corn Flakes”.

We think those are the only two times that cyclists have met crocodiles, though needless to say – we need to stop saying that – two-wheelers tend to run into living forms of trouble that take all kinds of shapes and forms.

There was the cyclist who spent about 4 minutes talking to a mountain lion, and then travelled back to Windows 1999 to edit the footage:

…and the time some guy jumped over a cow, which always makes for a good watch:

But we’ll leave you with one of the most brutal. The infamous YouTube video which shows the moment Evan van der Spuy of Team Jeep South Africa was absolutely taken out by an Antelope while competing in a mountain race at Albert Falls Dam.

And damn, that must that’ve hurt.
