Is Full Contact Sky Diving Real or Fake? Either Way, It’s Certainly Stupid

The first rule of flight cub is...

Somebody check the calendar. Is it April Fools? That would certainly explain the emergence of one of, frankly, the stupidest sports we’ve ever seen. Introducing: Full Contact Skydiving.

As if jumping from a plane wasn’t dangerous enough, these guys decided to up the ante by having a dust up on the way down. “Why?” is the logical first question on everyones lips.

Well, according to the Full Contact Skydiving website; “FCS is a unique, sky-based self-defense art that teaches practitioners to engage in free-fall combat with … a higher understanding of physics, balance manipulation, and gravity’s effect on the human anatomy.”. Yeah…

“Some people were knocked out, and couldn’t open their parachutes”

Combatants (or ‘com-twatants’ as people probably should be calling them) train in wind tunnels to hone their mid-air moves, before taking to the skies for the real deal.

The wearing of helmets is also mandatory for fighters after some people were knocked out mid-drop and were unable to deploy their parachutes.

So, is Full Contact Sky Diving real, or an elaborate hoax? You decide. That said, we struggle to believe anybody is this crazy. Not even the Protein Sheiks in this video.
