This footage is taking the internet by storm, one watermelon at a time.

You know how it goes. Life. Work. Money troubles. Sometimes the world can be a pretty stressful place. Responsibilities can get on top of you, and make you want to hide from everything beneath a massive pile of pillows. It’s a rubbish feeling; a really rubbish feeling.

The good news is that, here at Mpora, we’ve arguably just unearthed the ultimate cure for stress. And, we’re hazarding a guess here, it’s probably not what you were expecting the ultimate cure for stress to be.

Hippos. We’re talking about hippos. Specifically, we’re talking about this video of hungry hippos crushing watermelons in their enormous mouths. Man, oh man, just look at that crunch. Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! CRUNCH!

It’s such a satisfying sight to behold that we genuinely believe we could watch hippos destroying watermelons with their high-powered jaw muscles all day long, and still not get bored.

So gather round, dear friends. Gather round. Don’t be shy. Say “goodbye” to your troubles, say “hasta la vista” to your concerns, and watch the animal kingdom’s answer to the Hydraulic Press Channel. You’ll love it more than you’ve ever loved anything in your life (maybe).

If Mick Jagger still “can’t get no satisfaction” after watching this then, quite frankly, he’s so far beyond help…it’s unreal. Oh, and a word of warning. Don’t try eating a watermelon in one go with your own comparatively-small human mouth. It’s impossible. We’ve tried. Leave it to the hippos.
