Even by Steve-O's extremely silly standards, this is a really silly way to get hurt.

Oh, Steve-O. Steve-O. Steve-O. Steve-O. You silly, silly, boy. What have you done this time? Something silly, I bet. Something really, really, silly. It’s been a while since we saw a video of you doing something silly, so I guess it was only a matter of time till we saw you doing something silly again but this, this video right here; well Steve-O, you’ve outdone yourself in the silliness stakes. You so silly.

When he’s not going to jail for protesting against Seaworld, or featuring in this list of the 10 most ridiculously insane stunts Jackass ever attempted, Steve-O likes to skateboard. But because this is Steve-O, it has to be skateboarding with a load of extra silly bollocks thrown in for good measure.

Steve-O, 42, was filming a stunt with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk when he broke bones in his right ankle and left heel. The stunt, in a nutshell, involved skateboarding off a wooden port-a-loo at the precise moment a car driven by another skateboard great in the form of Danny Way drove into it and smashed the port-a-loo into a billion pieces (not quite a billion pieces, but you get the drift).

Evidence of the disastrous stunt was uploaded to Steve-O and Tony Hawk’s Instagrams, with Steve-O later SnapChatting an image of his bandaged feet from hospital.

We all, of course, wish Steve-O a speedy recovery from his injuries because let’s face it, a world without Steve-O’s silliness is a far less interesting world. Yeah, hands up, we love the silliness.
