People In Cape Town Have Been Losing Their Sh*t Over These Mad-Looking Clouds

Bizarre cloud formations or evil aliens in UFOs? The first one…obviously.

Did you notice the UFO's flying over #capetown yesterday?

UFOS are silly. UFOs don’t exist. Blah. Blah. Blah. Give it a rest, willz-ya?! Come on UFO deniers. The evidence is right in front of your eyeballs. It’s up there…in the clouds. Literally…in the clouds. The evidence is, quite literally, the clouds. Don’t believe us? Think we’ve lost our marbles down the back of the sofa? Think we’ve got a couple of screws loose? That’s what they want you to think. That’s what the government wants you to think…I’ve said too much. *jumps out of window, and runs away*

On the weekend just gone, strange cloud formations appeared over Cape Town in South Africa. Fortunately, some Instagrammers were on hand to document the scene and publish it on social media. The cloud formations were of particular interest to the world at large because, well because, they looked like UFOs, flying saucers, alien space-ships etc etc. The most common explanation for this weather phenomenon is humidity variation. The clouds themselves are lenticular, which comes from the Latin word meaning “lens-like.”
