Suzuki Nine Knights 2014: Big Air Competition Final Highlights From Livigno

Twenty of the best freestyle skiiers got creative on the insane Nine Knights Big Air comp last week

Four triple corks were stomped at the finals of the Nine Knights Big Air freestyle comp in Livigno, Italy last week.

Twenty freestyle skiiers were invited to take part with eight men making it to the finals. As you’ve probably heard, the course was insane. Huge walls, a 28-metre kicker and tonnes of gnarly little features, designed to give riders maximum air time plus plenty of room to get creative.

Oscar Wester from Sweden claimed the top spot on the podium with a triple cork 1620 and switch 1440, beating the Swiss runners up Luca Schuler and Jesper Tjäder who came second and third place respectively.

Make sure you check out the finals highlight vid above – some of the stunts are unreal!
