I'm a photographer from Ostend, Belgium. My introduction to photography came when I started a audiovisual education at the Academy in Bruges.
Soon it became clear that I'd rather showed my passion for images through photography than through film. At the age of 16 I got in my last year audiovisual education the choice to spend an entire year working on one subject. After considering a few things I chosed for surf photography. Combining two passions to create your final seemed the perfect combination to make something succesful.
Surfing is something realy close to nature and thatâ??s what it makes it so special. Being out there in the water and nothing else to think about. For this final I went outside Europe to shoot some exclusive images, and it was then that I realized what she wanted with her life.
Traveling the earth with my photography, moving my boundaries, get energy out of new experiences and using photography not only as an eye but as well as a voice.
Captering the amaze of something so that others can see it.
