StRaNGe Beautiful LIFE - Episode 6: The Best Of SBL And The Lostprophets

SBL has been going for over a year now and what better way to celebrate than to get all of our favourite clips from each episode and edit them to a world class rock band.
Considering the size of Great Britain it has produced countless world class musicians over the years and Wales is just one tiny little corner of Britain. It's funny because it's so small everything is very accessible and if you ever need anything, someone will know someone... So for this episode I rang up Cardiff based DJ Neil Navarra and asked him if he knew any cool rock bands, within one hour he had secured us the Lostprophets!! Future episodes may feature Tom Jones or the Stereophonics ha ha
We met up with the band whilst they were recording their latest album 'Weapons' at Monnow Valley Studios in Monmouth. Me and Stokesy are big rock fans so needless to say we were pretty excited on the drive up! I was a little disappointed though when the lead guitarist pulled up in not a rock star Ferrari but a Citroen C1, he had his reasons but the damage was already done!
Big thanks to Romesh at Long Wave records for letting us come into the studio, it was so epic. Big up to Welsh legend Neil Navarra for being the social butterfly and sorting everything out and Lee Gaze and Ian Watkins for just being rock stars. Now get your rocks off.
