Here are the five surfers up for the Surfline Best Overall Performance Award at the 2011 Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards. These rides are not specific nominees, just symbolic rides representing each surfer's excellence in big waves over the last 12 months in both paddle and tow in categories. Nominated surfers include Kohl Christensen ((Hawaii), Danilo Couto (Brazil), Mark Healey (Hawaii), Sion Milosky (Hawaii) and Benjamin Sanchis (France).
