Pretty much everything happened in the racing weekend that was the first world cup race to be held in Val d'Isere.

The track is new which threw up more than just dust and rocks for the riders, Tracey Hannah took the unfortunate title of worst crash breaking her femur and collarbone.

Although fastest in quali Cam Cole couldn't pull it out for the finals, instead it was time for the young guns to step it up. Brook MacDonald took the top spot, Gee Atherton held solid in second and Josh Bryceland put in a steady looking but super fast run to come in 3rd spot. Podium regulars Greg Minaar and 5 stitches Gwin held on through his hand injury to take 5th spot.

Gwin also managed to tie up the overall with his 5th spot, again France is kind to Gwin as it was last year too that he sealed the deal in the French mountains.

Every slice of the action is here in a this piece of Parkin. Enjoy!
