Mit harten Reifen haben am 1. September 2012 Flatlander aus der ganzen Bundesrepublik ihre Kunst an das Dresdner Elbufer gebracht. Das Contest-Areal war eine 400 m² große Asphaltfläche mitten in der Stadt mit direktem Blick auf das Rathaus. Die Fahrer hatten also ideale Bedingungen, um heiße Tricks auf den Asphalt zu brennen und dem Publikum eine ganz andere Form des Radfahrens zu präsentieren.
Gestartet wurde in der Amateur- und Profiklasse. Insgesamt 22 Starter haben den Contest teilgenommen und wurden von knapp 200 Zuschauer angefeuert.
