Thursday Aug 9th the Skulcandy Party train rolled into Newquay, the UK’s premier surf town. With the launch of the 2.0 product range, complete with “Supreme Sound” technology, we thought we’d take the message on the road, and give you, the public a chance to road test the all new Skullcandy gear. Basked in Glorious sunshine, the Chy and Koola club played host to a party of epic proportions. Once again the Skullcandy DJ’s were in Full effect, sets from Pete Jordan, Lucius Brave and Neil Navarra, only to be topped off by a headline dj set from radio 1 a listers Drumsound and Bassline Smith Venue hit capacity by midnight and stayed that way until close, producing one of the best talked about nights Newquay has ever seen. Big tune of the night was most definitely Drumsound and Bassline Smith”s latest smash hit “Through the night”
On Friday August 10th we changed the pace down in Newquay, were we subdued from the last nights carnage? Hell no! For part 2 of our summer series, we moved down to the stunning Fistral Beach bar, for an epic acoustic sunset session. Welsh Rocker Kids in Glass Houses played to an electric, intimate crowd, in front of a back drop of one of the UK’s best sunsets, this could result in only one thing…. Another sublime party!
