Taking your wakeboard to new heights
Warm sunny weather attracted a crowd of audience to the first mountain wake jam (MWJ). The viewers as well as the participants were immpressed by the mountain scenery and the view of the valley below. The participants performed jumps in thin mountain air at an event set into a rather unusual environment, on the artificial lake on top of peak Zvoh, at the altitude of 1.971m.
Around 30 participants took part in the competition divided into several categories.
The access to the location was rather unique, compared to other locations, as most visitors are not used to using cable cars in summer time. On top of that, the last part included a four by four ride. The greatest enthusiast, however, did this last bit to the top of Zvoh on foot.
The visitors, competitors and other passers-by enjoyed the spectacle which was special on the international scale as well, so next year we expect an even larger, better and funnier MWJ.
