Its not every day that storms systems formed near New Zealand provoke swells that travel throughout Latin America. The phenomenon, seen only every few years, brings with it giant waves that most swimmers and sea lovers flee from because of their strength and power but that, for a select group of surfers, it is like Christmas and their birthday in one day.
