Well it’s no surprise that Niseko has actually now become Japan’s most impressive Global snow sports location, being the second snowiest resort town globally. It gets around sixteen metres of snow from November to May. One of Niseko’s best attractions is the access to off-piste and back country areas. Why so much snow? Well many weather streams come right here from the north chills of Siberia, so Niseko is blessed with consistently high snow falls, producing excellent quantities of super dry powder.
