EXCLUSIVE: Surfdome Meets Kelly Slater - Part 1

Surfing demi-god Kelly Slater took his 51st event win on tour at the Quiksilver Pro France earlier today. Backed by the entire beach, he overcame the ultra-talented wildcard Dane Reynolds for his third win of 2012. Three events remain and he lies 2nd behind Joel Parkinson in the ASP rankings. World title number 12 in 2012 maybe? Definitely has a nice ring to it.

Surfdome's crew were very lucky and absolutely stoked to be there to witness it. The crowd's reaction was frenzied and phenomenal as he stepped up to take his prize. Fellow Quiksilver rider and surf titan Stephanie Gilmore awarded him and Kelly accepted in English and in French.
