BANGERS 2012/13 EPISODE 1

The first episode of BANGERS for the new season sees us flip summer the bird and dive full on into winter with a show filled with awesome snowboarding and freeskiing that's guaranteed to have you pumped for opening day. In this latest instalment, we take you on an adrenaline-laced global rollercoaster of a ride, with action from Austria, New Zealand, Chile and Switzerland taking centre stage.

Up first is one of the greatest glacier openings in Europe – the MOREBOARDS Stubai Premiere – where the lure of stellar riding under perfect bluebird skies draw swarms of riders to the Stubai glacier for a weekend of shredding, product testing and partying. From there we head straight down under to Wanaka to hook up with Red Bull's team of world class riders and freeskiers who all came together to push the limits of freestyle riding way out there at their annual Performance Training Camp. Then it's straight to Valle Nevado where America and Europe's heaviest freeriders face off to charge insane lines at the Swatch Skiers' Cup, followed by a visit to Montafon where Nike created the biggest, most creative, most insane snowboard park ever seen for a select few Ams and their Pro team to tear to pieces. Finally we finish off by dropping in on the festival of multi-sport madness that pitches up in Zurich every year for a weekend of insanity – the infamous Freestyle.CH. And if that's not enough, we also take a look at two of this winter's hottest movie releases: Illuminati Films' Lost and Found and the Candide Thovex spectacular, Few Words.
