People of Queenstown witnessed a glowing orb in the sky as Team Kissmark tested 2013 gear.
During yesterday afternoon people in Queenstown ran into their shelters terrified by a glowing orb in the sky. Some of the people identified it as a meteor, some as a missile. Panic among the people was immediate as these rumours ran the Queenstown streets like a bushfire. People started to call emergency numbers. Within 10 minutes the government armed forces arrived and located through their radar flight records where the flying object had landed and where it had been launched. At the other end they found a confused Finnish snowboarder who had been flying without any kind of plane. He Claimed he had been launched near the Queenstown mountains by a slingshot, powered with new Kissmark snowboards.
This was proven to be true as the army helicopter located two fellows (FInnish and Japanese) celebrating at the mountain site. This was understandable as they had been the first persons to go supersonic with snowboards. Seriousness of the moment caught them quickly as they noticed the turrets pointing towards them from the helicopter.
Since this incident has broken several international laws (aviation and air space). Embassadors of Finland and Japan are arriving today to Queenstown and try to solve this matter in peaceful manners. We will be waiting anxiously what will be the punishment for these three fellows who accuse to done this for good of their sport and are now celebrated national heroes at their home countries.
