The North Shore of Oahu is surfing's ultimate proving ground. Everybody who's anybody shows up come winter, shacks up in one of the various multi-million-dollar houses along the Seven Mile Miracle and tries to nab a few waves of note. Careers can be made and broken faster than it takes a wave to break and reach the shoreline.
