In the Masters, Steve Caballero made the trip to Waitangi Park in Wellington for the first time and took the win. In Pro, the battle was intense but Josh Rodriguez got the nod from judges and beat three time winner Pedro Barros. New to 2013, an extension was added to the deep end of the bowl for the Red Bull Best Trick. A hectic session was had and Kevin Kowalski's frontside invert was awarded Best Trick.
