Dakine Wildcard Winner:
Shajen Willems from the Netherlands
The European Finals for the Element Make it Count Contest Series were held at Element Skatecamp, Norway on June 23rd 2013. We had 13 contestants from all over Europe who were competing for an all expenses trip to California for the Global Finals.
We had Element riders Levi Brown, Phil Zwijsen, Michael Mackrodt, Karsten Kleppan, Jarne Verbruggen, Ross McGouran and Ruben Rodrigues to judge the contest.
It was a really close call but the judges concluded that Hermann Stene was the overall winner!
Hermann won't be going to California alone, sponsorship partner Dakine decided to send another competitor to the Global Finals! Congrats to Shajen Willems of the Netherlands for winning the wildcard prize.
Both Stene and Willems will be joining fellow MIC competitors from around the world for a week in California, in order to compete for a full Element sponsorship, skate the Berrics and redeem Make it Count's actual top prize: an experience of a lifetime...
