What a weekend, the Enduro race season is picking up momentum and that is exactly what the riders are doing on these stages.
All departing from the steep peaks above Allos in the French Pre Alpes the stages were a mixture of wooded off camber tech and flat out blasting across the alpine meadows.
Ben Cruz fell victim to the trails as did a few other riders but on the whole a solid weekend of racing on what many riders considered the most fun trails of the season so far.
Punctures and mechanicals ruined some early runs for Steve Peat, Josh Bryceland, Jerome Clementz and Fabian Barel. A big field of women racers was dominated by Tracy Moseley but the XC girls came through on Sunday and pushed hard.
Nico Voullioz took the mens win ahead of a solid performance from Jared Graves and a stomer on the last day from DH World Champion Greg Minnaar gave him last spot on the podium.
T-Mo took top spot in the women's race with Anneke Beeten behind her and Cecile Ravanel on the third step.
Jared Graves and Tracy Moseley now lead the overall going into this weekend's racing in Les Deux Alpes at Crankworx Europe.
