Skiing in AK - One Month - 3 Friends - £2000 Budget.
Alaska on a shoe string is a short film made in March 2013, which follows three friends on the trip of a lifetime, in their first venture to the Mecca of freeride skiing, Alaska. They are on a tight budget, in a world filled with Helicopters and High-Budget film crews, the boys set out to only spend £2000 in a whole month. Flights from Europe, Car hire, Accomodation and Food all included!
Follow British pro riders Steve Walton, Tom Coney and Jon Luckhurst as they embark on the myth-busting mission, to prove that under their own steam and with the same money most people would spend on a ski holiday in France, they can fulfill a lifelong dream of skiing Alaskan powder.
