Check out the last video clip "Nio Far" from Tom Frager & Pro Surfers for the project Surfers For Africa.
Since 2010, Cœur de Forêt association built a sustainable economic model for Anambe village in Senegal with the help of the Quiksilver Foundation. This action was possible thanks to the funds harvested during the "Green campain". The target is to protect the Anambé basin from unregulated destruction to preserve the water cycle and enable local communities to live from the forest whilst being protected. After three years of existence, we are pleased to see that the project is gaining momentum : more than 8,500 fruit trees have been planted 6.5 hectares reforested. For 2013, the team has set two major objectives: to expand the project to five villages surrounding area and create a new plantation of fruit trees.
In January, Stephanie Gilmore, Tom Frager and Alain Riou went to the village where they lived a real human experience. They were dazzled by the scenery, enchanted by the meeting but also affected by a difficult reality... In fact, even if the village grows, some places are really precarious, especially the local hospital. This place needs to be renovated and equipped.
By purchasing NIO FAR The song of TOM FRAGER, you participate in the fundraising that will renovate the clinic and move the project more quickly. Thank you for your contribution.
