We caught up with team manager Nigel page along with Joe Smith and new team signing Mike Jones at the Forest of Dean to talk wheels.
With 27.5 (650b) wheels proliferating the DH bike market it seems most teams are looking at bigger wheels for at least some of the tracks in the 2014 World Cup season.
The guys at Nukeproof have modified a Mega AM frame to take a RockShox Vivid Air shock and to run some 27.5 Boxxer forks that have been dropped to 175mm of travel.
It's still early stages for the CRC/Nukeproof team but they seem poised to have the choice of 26 inch or 27.5 at this year's races. Steve Jones sits down with Nigel to discuss the advantages and see how the team are approaching the season.
