Starting as a B-Boy in 1984, Mirko got into Graffiti soon … but when he saw Grandmixer DST and heard Jazzy Jeff, he knew he wanted to scratch too.
After the first scratch sessions with his ghettoblaster and the volume button of his stereo he bought two Technics SL 1210 in 1988. After one year of practicing in his bedroom he entered the stage.
Mirko spinned on numerous concerts and partys around Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Hungary, France, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ivory Coast, Togo, Nigeria and the USA.
He graced the stage and has been on tour with the likes of Gangstarr, Dj Premier, KRS-ONE, Eminem, Das EFX, Jeru The Damaja, Talib Kweli, Masta Ace, Ed OG, DJ Kool, Lord of the Underground, Beatnutz, Paris, Dj'd für UK Hero Blade.
Mirko had his own radio show »The Real Deal Radio Show« from 1996 to 1999, broadcasting from his hometown Oldenburg. For 5 years, from 1995 to 2000 he was the official »Battle Of The Year« DJ, the worlds biggest B-Boy Competition.
Besides doin Turntablism Workshops in Hamburg at the Vibra School of Djing, he is back on air with the »Real Deal Radioshow« since '08 and is doing the renown "Flavor of the Month“ whose 5th anniversary was reason enough for us to visit him in his studio, had the chance to go dig up some vinyl and accompany him and the Retrogott for the celebration of five years of his monthly party.
Welcome to the Family, Mirko.
