After a journey that took 6 months, 8100 kilometers, 4 countries, 40.000 euros in prize money and an infinite number of gas station coffee and sandwiches: the QParks Snowboard Tour came to its grande finale at Superpark Dachstein on Saturday the 19th of April to crown the champions of the 2013/14 season.
Benedek Kis from Hungary took home the glory for the snowboard men with a gravity-defying gap to frontside boardslide on the double kink rail that made Issac Newton turn in his grave, whilst Max Preissinger proved he’s a force to be reckoned with an immaculate run that had a blunt 270 out and a huge gapped lip slide on the beasty double kink rail. Klara Dinold represented the girls like no other.
We’re now off for a summer long siesta, but rest assured we’ll be back and bigger than ever next season kicking things off in November with the O’Neill Pleasure Jam 2014 at Superpark Dachstein. Thanks for a killer season and we’ll see you at the beach!
