Joe Cole – What it takes to make it as a footballer
Joe Cole will start the 2014/2015 football season as an Aston Villa player, having moved there from West Ham United during the close season. His most successful years were spent at Chelsea between 2003 & 2010 where he became a Premier League champion, but he also had spells at Liverpool and in the French top division with Lille.
Cole is one of the few England players to have appeared in 3 World Cup final tournaments, eventually making 56 appearances for the national side and scoring ten goals, including his most famous strike against Sweden in 2006.
With all this experience, and having trained and played with some of the best players in recent history, Joe is well placed to reveal the attributes required to makes it as a top footballer. In this video Joe names the 5 things that he thinks all great players need.
