The Tweed Valley, in the Scottish Borders, has some of the best trail centre and natural riding in the UK.
We've put this video together to show the different types of riding available at Glentress and Innerleithen, which varies from easy forest roads to steep, technical climbs and descents with something for all standards of rider, from beginner or pro, and everything in between.
Alpine Bikes operate the new bike shop and hire centre at Glentress, arguably the best all round trail centre in the UK. The bike shop is fully equipped with all the spares you'll need to keep you out riding and a workshop staffed with Cytech qualified and experienced mechanics. The new Peel facilities are outstanding with brand new showers, changing facilities, trail guides, bike wash, cafe, osprey viewing centre and more.
5 minutes along the road is Innerleithen - famous for its tight twisty, rooty downhill tracks and challenging Red/Black route with stunning views. Alpine also have a shop at 'Inners' which caters more for the Downhill rider and also has a great selection of road bikes to take advantage of the amazing road riding to be found in the area.
So what are you waiting for? Come and ride the amazing trails!
