A spontaneous idea became the pilot movie of a successful series. The first edition of Blickinsfreie´s eastern European snowboard documentary series showcases the development of snowboarding in former communist Poland.
With one phone number in the bag, René Eckert went on a 20 hour trip by train to Zakopane in Poland to discover the Polish snowboard scene.
On location, the idea became more and more a successful adventure which advanced deep in the roots of the Polish scene. From the mountains of the Tatra to cities like Krakow one thing is for sure, snowboarders fully dedicated their heart in the dream of snowboarding.
Today´s street snowboard legend Wojtek Pawlusiak made his first appearance ever in media in this movie. With only 2 years of riding he was already riding as gnarly as today. The movie was his entrance in the world wide snowboard scene.
Most progressive street snowboarding meets interesting stories about the development of the sport in Poland.
A must watch!
