Hunting Yeti

Yeti - noun. A legendary creature - a monster that is unverifiable but popularly accepted as possibly factual. The monsters of riding, known as The Nimbus Crew (Pep Fujas, Eric Pollard, Chris Benchetler, Ike Smith, Andy Mahre) are definitely real and now legendary after a season long road trip meeting up with loads of like-minded riders. Their antics and tricks over the course of the trip were recorded for posterity in the form of the Hunting Yeti DVD. While riding with a hodgepodge of skiers and snowboarders, sponsored and non-sponsored, the Nimbus Crew hit endless pillow lines and epic backcountry sled missions in: North Cascade Heli Skiing, Whistler, Ski Bowl, Timberline, Mount Hood Meadows, Sonora, Cooke City, Mammoth Mountain, and Mount Saint Helens. The DVD follows the crew through their adventures on the hill with friends and riders such as Dylan Hood, Bryce Phillips, Erin Valverde-Pollard, Sammy Carlson, Shin Campos, Garrett Russell, Griffin Cummings, Josh Frazier, Christian Sirianni and Tommy Ellingson. It also chronicles the relentless traveling, flat tires, broken sleds, fast food, early mornings, and injuries that inevitably ensued throughout the season.
