With Fort William catapulting Danny Hart and Brook Macdonald into the upper echelons of World Cup racing, all eyes turned to Leogang for what looked like being a close run race on the shorter Austrian track.
Trek's Aaron Gwin put the frighteners on everyone in Fort William, establishing a 5 second lead before a mistake left him back in fifth place. Keen to set things right, Leogang would see the US pinner reaffirm the form he showed in the first two races, nailing a time of 3:44.181, over two seconds up on Gee Atherton's second place time.
