The second movie of our eastern European snowboard documentary series is focusing on the small but also fine snowboard scene of Slovakia while showing the problems young snowboarders in the former communist country have to face.
Missing snow parks or long distances to travel to Austria make it really hard to progress in the sport they love.
With professional snowboarders like Wojtek Pawlusiak from Poland who is attempting the biggest Frontside Boardslide ever done on a street rail and passionate riders from France and Bazsi Takacs from Hungary, Blickinsfreie goes on a journey through the mountains of Slovakia while meeting up with locals, experiencing bad snow conditions and also injuries.
The movie makes clear that snowboarding is more than just 50 meters far jumps and the best conditions we know out of regular snowboard movies. It is more about the passion behind it which makes you go out every day even in worst conditions trying to make the best out of it and live it.
Do not miss it!
