Red Bull Psicobloc Olympos 2011 Turkey

ROCK CLIMBING HAD NEVER BEEN THIS LIGHT.
“Red Bull Psicobloc Olympos”, held in Olympos, Antalya in the recent days, introduced Turkey to a brand-new sports branch. Also attracting attention in the international climbing scene, the project pushed the athletes to the limit, as it was done without using any safety rope or safety equipment up to a height of 30 meters. As a perfect place for the deep water solo climbing discipline (a.k.a. Psicobloc), the sharp rock bands of Olympos hosted successful national mountaineers of Turkey, the Uğur Yılmaz and Evren Karadağ Yılmaz duo and and Red Bull athletes Enoko and Iker Pou.
