Le mois de décembre est le moment pour les skieurs de retourner dans le pipe, et de se retrouver à Copper pour préparer la saison.
Arrivent alors les deux premières compétitions : le Grand Prix à Copper, puis la première étape du Dew Tour à Breckenbridge.
