When Viking descendants make movies, you're bound to get something a little out of the ordinary.
The Game has been in the making for over a year and features the combined arts of kitesurfing, cable wakeboarding, wakeboarding, wakeskating and wakesurfing. The drive behind this all-Norwegian action fest is the feeling shared by good friends, André Natland, Remi Meum, Sigve Botnen and Egil Furre. All are professional snowkiters or kiteboarders, except Furre who is a professional wakeboarder. All display impressive strength in these different watersports, and shows just how adaptable kiteboarding skills are. Bertrand Fleury also makes a guest appearance and has a big section in the movie. The Norwegian link...? He has a Norwegian girlfriend of course! This is a fun film and doesn't take itself too seriously. Impressively and artistically produced and edited by Kiteworld contributor Christian Nerdrum, who has been making short films for the internet for years. This is a movie that will inspire a wide audience.
