Wider den Prognosen war Petrus der Schweizer Bike-Familie bestens gesinnt und verwöhnte Solothurn am Bike Days-Wochenende mit idealem Wetter. 17'500 Zuschauer genossen das Festival rund ums Velo, wohnten spannenden Wettkämpfen bei und wurden auf Teststrecken und in Workshops selbst aktiv. Am Samstag gewann der zweifache Olympiasieger Julien Absalon (FRA) den Racer Bikes Cup. Das Highlight vom Sonntag waren die spektakulären Finals der MTB- und BMX-Freestyle Contests.
