Newquay Mayor Andy Hannan has had another £500 raised for his chosen charity “The Joe Way Appeal” this time going to the Cornwall Blind Association.
The Paddle zone, at what was one of the busiest show and shine events of the 'Run to the Sun's' 25 year history, had something for everyone.
The Indo Board demo area was non-stop, along with the surf simulator, bouncy castle and face painting.
With everyone keen to try a Segway, which was skillfully ridden by Newquay mayor Andy Hannan, the delightful sounds of harmony group Oll an Gwella was a welcome break from the booming sound systems.
