El pasado viernes 21 de mayo, se dió termino al campeonato de surf Héroes de Mayo, realizado en Iquique por la Asociación de Surf, donde los riders tuvieron el privilegio de correr olas de hasta 4 metros de altura.
El evento se realizó en la playa Ex Urraca donde participaron 80 riders del surf nacional.
El local Juan Carlos Lombardi, fue el campeón, ganando por primera vez este campeonato en su propia tierra. &#xu2;01CMe siento muy feliz por ganar mi primer torneo Héroes de Mayo, era mi sueño ganar en mi tierra. Estuvo difícil ya que la final me tocó con mi amigo Camilo Hernández&#xu2;01D,nos contó Lombardi. Además Ryan Cabezas (Pichilemu), ganó la categoría Senior, Trinidad Segura obtuvo el 3º lugar en la categoría mujeres y Nicolás Vargas el 3º lugar en la categoría Junior.
