That's how we felt when we caught ourselves staring for the first time at Cape Good Hope, bombarded with massive solid sets and offshore winds. We kept staring in awe and silence, knowing that the next single piece of land is Antarctica, 4000 miles away. And the question raised immediately. Are we supposed to surf here? It really looked gnarly and hostile at that moment.
It was our first time in side-offshore conditions. It was our first day in another world. A bunch of friends having all the fun they could possibly get!
