Tim Boydell's First Swell

Shot by 26-year-old Tim Boydell (who also made Reubyn Ash's winning Innersection video part), 'First Swell' was screened at the 2011 London Film Festival and documents the English crew of Tom Lowe, Tom Butler, Mitch Corbett, Mark Harris and Josh Hughes as they set out towards the U.K.'s most remote fringes in search of undiscovered world-class breaks. The crew spent 6 weeks searching every nook and headland for new lineups. In the end, they only scored 2 days of swell but the reward was a handsome one, the discovery of Evies, and unknown righthand slab.

With plans to return as soon as possible, it shouldn't be long before you seen more footage of the UK's most recent closest kept secret.
