It was the last round of the irish open championship at dundalk motocross track. stuart came into the day already with a broken hand and with a crash in the last moto of the day he broke a bone in the other hand. having to ride the rest of the last race to try an slavage the championship with 2 broken hands the TM rider came through with a high enough finish to win the irish open championship.
