Relentless Freeze Festival on 28th & 29th October 2011 was the biggest Freeze yet. Attended by over 17,000 people and with many well known snowboarders, from all over the world competing, it was an epic weekend of snowboarding, bands, DJ's and partying at Battersea Powerstation in South London. Here is a short of snowboarding, music and interviews from Pro-Snowboarders Dom Harington and Victor De le Rue.
FACTOIDS:
Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival is centred around the bespoke 32m kicker, created especially for the event. It's 32m high, the equivalent of 8 double decker busses stacked on top of each other. 100m long, it would take Linford Christie 10 seconds to run the length of the jump. 500 tonnes of real snow is created over the two days and the snow is created by blowing water at high speeds through liquid nitrogen.
