Another huge crowd and another gnarly track awaited the riders of the MX world championships as the tour rolled in to St Jean D'Angely. All eyes would once again be on German wonder kid Ken Roczen as he dominated Saturday's qualifying. However things would not go Roczen's way as heavy overnight rain left the track rutted and super technical. Roczen went down hard early in moto 2 leaving 4 riders scrapping it out for the win. Eventual winner on the day was English hero Tommy Searle on his Monster CLS Kawasaki, who was clearly excited about his first GP win in nearly 3 years after 2 disappointing seasons states side. The spotlight will be back on the impressive St Jean D'Angely circuit later this year as it hosts the biggest race of them all, The Mx of Nations in September. Dont miss it.
