A globally recognised sportsman, at just 9 years old Jossi was flown by helicopter to the mountains behind Wanaka to compete with the best freeskiiers in the world.
2007 saw Jossi at the Winter X Games - the youngest ever skier and in 2010 he was crowned the AFP Overall World Champion giving him the status of ‘Best Freeskier in the World’.
Not bad for a boy from Wanaka. Jossi and his brothers Byron, Beau – James and Jackson still call Wanaka home. Jossi credits the place and people for keeping him grounded and helping to make him what he is today.
