Ende März fand mit der Marmotta Trophy ein Weltcup Rennen im Wettkampf-Skibergsteigen statt. Knapp 300 Skibergsteiger lieferten sich auf der rund 1.740 Höhenmeter umfassenden Strecke mit mehreren Aufstiegen, Abfahrten und Tragepassagen einen Kampf gegen die Zeit und die Konkurrenz. Die Tagessiege gingen letztlich sowohl bei den Herren, als auch bei den Damen nach Frankreich: William Bon Mardion und Laetitia Roux dominierten das Rennen.
